A day of poetry in Williamson Square, inspired by Musa Okwonga's 'Ode to Mo'
28th Jun 18
After the unrivalled success of our ‘Ode to Mo’ (our film of Musa Okwonga’s poem has been viewed millions of times across the world), local poets Alex Ferguson and Lyndsay Price joined team RRU to run a day-long, drop-in poetry session in Liverpool’s Williamson Square. Armed with old-school type-writers, carbon paper and a referees whistle, our golden-booted bards asked the public to get in touch with their inner odist and write an ‘ode to’ someone or something that they love. As usual, the Liverpool public remained in a league of their own by delivering a great result and totally kicked it out of the park. Pure poetry in motion!
